USPS is one of the most dependable and well-known shipping corporations in the United States of America. Although their courier services are incredibly dependable, there are situations when they may be delayed if you meet a few issues.
If you’ve ever tried to print a package label for a customer and run into issues, this article will offer you a possible solution to the problem of USPS Click and Ship not working on different devices.
What is USPS Click and Ship?
Click and Ship is a convenient USPS tool that allows you to handle package booking and shipment online when using Priority Mail, Express Mail, or International Mail. It’s essentially an internet portal for making personalized shipments.
To utilize Click and Ship, simply sign up for a USPS account, connect to a printer, and pay with a credit card.
You can use Click and Ship to:
• Purchase postage stamps from the USPS website.
• You may pay for postage with any major credit card.
• Calculate and compare interest rates
• Deals with standardization
• Locate a zip code
• Up to $200 in insurance coverage
• About 1,000 domestic and international addresses can be stored online in an address book.
• The receiver will receive an email confirming shipment.
• Use a single credit card transaction to print ten domestic labels.
• View postage labels from the previous six months in your shipping history.
• Accounts can be simply controlled through the “My Account” interface.
Currently, USPS Click and Ship labels can be printed for the following domestic and international shipping services:

You will, however, be unable to print Click and Ship labels for First-Class services for the time being. In addition, the following services are not available:

How To Use USPS Click and Ship
An account must first be created on the USPS website to use the service. The following is a step-by-step instruction to using this service:
1. Open a free USPS account
To use a courier’s services, you must first open an account with them.
2. Construct a shipping label
To create your shipping label, enter the destination address. Click n Ship allows you to keep and use a list of delivery locations, referred to as the Address Book, to save time repeatedly delivering to the same addresses.
3. Select further actions
You can choose if you want to receive tracking information and email updates. You can also tell the receiver that their product has been dispatched, hold it for pick-up, or add it to your Address Book.
4. Enter a shipment date
Indicate when you want your package delivered. Make sure that you have the proper date. If you drop off your box for delivery after the shipping date, some Post Offices may not send it.
5. Enter the package weight
USPS and other couriers calculate shipping costs based on weight or box dimensions, whichever is greater. Choose between standard postage rates (paid by weight/size) and Flat Rate, which charges a flat fee for any parcel weighing less than 70 pounds.
A flat rate is usually the cheapest option when sending large or bulky packages, and USPS offers free Flat Rate boxes that can be ordered online.
7. Enter the package value
Almost all USPS shipments are insured up to $50 or $100, depending on the service chosen. At this time, you can add up to $5,000 in supplementary insurance.
8. Add delivery instructions
Any particular activities you want to be taken for delivery, including scheduled pick-up pick-ups, go here.
9. Select USPS shipping service
This is where you will determine the cost and delivery time for your cargo. Priority Mail, Express Mail, Global Express Guaranteed, and Global Express Mail are all options. Navigate through the options until you discover a price and timetable that works for you.
10. Include value-added features
Do you require signature confirmation? Put it here. Every shipment comes with free tracking.
11. Complete and print the label
The final step is to review your shipment order and pay for the shipping label. Finally, you’ll be able to print your labels now, at the Post Office, or by downloading the label.
Why is the USPS Click and Ship feature not working?
The first cause of the USPS Click and Ship Not Working error is a server outage. You may face this problem if there are too many individuals trying the same task simultaneously, so try again later. Meanwhile, if you were to send out the shipment straight away, this can be highly inconvenient.
When you try to finalize the shipping label, you may encounter the CNS. It says “Processing” and then returns you to the shipping label information after 1-2 minutes. If you click Continue to pay for the label again, it will say “Processing,” and you may have to do this numerous times.
Solutions to the “USPS Click and Ship Not Working” Error
As previously stated, this is a server-related issue, and if you’re a webmaster, you’ll understand this better. When there is so much traffic to the extent that the server cannot manage the requests thrown at it at the time, we notice the error.
However, there is no need to fear because people in authority keep a close eye on the situation. We all understand how inconvenient this can be if you need to send your product out right away. Meanwhile, the first thing we’d recommend is contacting the USPS assistance center.
Attempt Different Browsers
There are no recommendations about which browser to use for this. Meanwhile, we recommend that you experiment with different browsers. Trying different browsers could make payments go through with credit card and print.
That is why, if you encounter a USPS click and ship issue, we recommend trying various browsers.
Last Thoughts
We’ve all encountered this issue when using the USPS platform and no one has a quick fix. As we indicated earlier in this piece, ‘reaching out to their contact page’ may be the best thing to do – while also keeping in mind that authorities are striving to settle the situation as soon as feasible.

How to get my money back from Click and Ship?
To file a refund claim, go to USPS.com/help/refund.htm.
highly inconvenient. the system never accepts my payment, this is not just a server issue on your end. it just seems like you need a bigger server
Yes it is on their part, soooo frustrating, have to go into the post office now every time to send something, where before a click-N -ship was easy to us.
Don’t understand why they can not fix it!
J.
Mine won’t even show. It just has a circle that keeps loading and processing… I’ve tried for over 2 days.. it can’t just be “busy”…. I feel like it hasn’t even been noticed.
Classic usps poor customer service – perhaps this is a ploy for job security (forcing us to wait in line at the post office so you have something to do). Until you fix this issue please take it offline or at least display an error message so we can do business elsewhere.
It’s not a server issue. It is an account issue on the back end. I had to create a new account after my old account had worked for a long time and then consistently stopped working. Now with the new account it works.
Does not accept address and goes back one page. Crazy they have not figured this out yet
Okay, so this isn’t just me alone dealing with the click and ship payment portion not working. Mine keeps returning with “Payment declined……..whatever reason” and even though I’ve worked it out with the bank and other places online I’m able to make payments, I seem to continue getting the same message.
How long is supposed to last?
click n ship creating label is not working, i have a lot packages that need to be ship today. please fix it thanks!
